Everyone has exploration points in their mini profile, you earn these by going to different islands. Of course you can't just get this by making a thread on that island, and you're done! You have to REALLY explore that island, if you take time in your thread and show me they're really learning the area that's how you get the points! 

Exploration points will help you out in getting and finding treasure events, the more you explore the more likely you'll get a random event! So be sure to explore as much as possible! 

You CAN get more then one point per island, just come back to the island and explore a new part! If that part isn't mentioned that's okay! These islands are for your headcanons! If you want to make up something, go ahead, as long as it makes sense. Like.. a desert animal shouldn't be in a jungle island.

You CAN NOT make up races, races will be added as more and more islands are added. Races are up to staff, so every playable race on the island is from that island, and you can not add more. (Of course you may suggest them in the next island thread here!)

Every month we'll be adding a new island, that island is typically done by demand and voted on the last week of the month, but all month there is an island suggestion thread that you can post in. The best options are chosen by staff and voted on!

To find treasure, you need a treasure map! These can be bought with exploration points by posting in the shopping thread, or you can get them through doing events or even just randomly! Maps are used to just have fun rp, or to get more exploration points.

For every small map, you get two exportation points, for every medium you get five and for every large you get eight! Exploration points can be used to buy more maps, more crew slots, islands that go through without a vote, or even your own races! 

Maps work, you're given some riddles and you have to go and follow those riddles in a thread, and after you complete them all you find some treasure! Everyone who helps gets the points, but if you're not in a crew only up to five people can share the points.

If you're completing a map, please make a thread with [MAP] in the title and tag the admin that sent you your map in a PM so they can pay attention and let you know if you're on the right path.
